Delete your account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Herelo and go to Discover → Settings (the gear icon).
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email [support@herelo.app] from any address with the phone number on your account. We'll confirm it's you with a one-time code and delete the account within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, photos, prompts and verification selfie
- Your likes, matches and messages
- Your check-ins, crossed-paths areas and trips
- Your notification settings and device tokens
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment records: 8 years, because Indian tax law requires it [CONFIRM]
- Reports other people made about the account, without your profile: up to 3 years, for safety
- If the account was under safety review: a one-way hash of the phone number, so the review can't be avoided by signing up again
Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play aren't cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel them in your store subscriptions first.
